The company MultiSafepay approached us with the need to develop solutions for their payment infrastructure, aiming to ensure seamless transactions for their business clients and marketplaces, as they recognized our expertise in this field. The goal was to create convenient, scalable and secure payment modules and integrate them into the MultiSafepay platform. Payment modules were required for the latest versions of Magento 2 PWA and for interaction with various commerce platforms, such as CCV, Shopify, and Lightspeed.

First of all, we focused on upgrading the PWA module. It was an old version, did not support even half of the possible payment methods, and worked with errors. Our task was to improve it and make it as functional as possible. We have implemented a dynamic component (embedded payment method) for card payments directly on the website and without switching to third-party payment gateways. We also integrated with GraphQL, which allowed us to better optimize the speed of processing module requests.
Embedded payments shorten the payment process for customers. If a hosted payment redirects the consumer to the MultiSafepay payment page to complete multiple actions, an embedded payment cuts off this redirection entirely, which is why they are called direct integrations.
The fields where consumers fill out their details are built into checkout, reducing checkout time and increasing their trust in your online store.
Embedded payments are the way forward for online businesses as they streamline payment flow and typically result in lower abandonment rates. They have become a decisive factor in increasing the conversion rate. The embedded method we developed allowed MultiSafepay’s merchants to increase conversions when placing an order on their websites by 14-25%.

Multisafepay, as an aggregator of various payment methods, is interested in constantly expanding its integrations. Therefore, the company turned to us to develop a module that would connect such trading platforms as CCV, Shopify and Lightspeed with the payment system. Previous modules of these platforms worked poorly - clients complained about their work and abandoned the unreliable solution.
It was decided to make one service that would include integration with CVV shop, Shopify and Lightspeed at once. Why did they make one instead of three? Three separate solutions would require 3 servers, 3 development teams and similar features that would have to be implemented several times based on all 3 integrations. Therefore, we made one module that implements the same business logic, but has different interfaces for different systems. This way everything works more stable, new features are released in three systems at once - for end users these are modules in CCV shop, Shopify and Lightspeed. The module makes it possible to connect many payment methods to websites, work with returns, invoices, and add embedded payment methods. Typical operation of a payment system.

We consistently documented all actions and developments in Jira for collaborative task management. Additionally, we set up CI/CD pipelines to ensure the quality of our code. We used Microsoft Teams for quick and efficient communication, adding you to our workspace for real-time updates and discussions. Following the Scrum methodology, we organized regular sprints and demos to track and showcase our progress effectively.
